I have been thinking for days about what I am going to write on this blog. I have wanted to start a "professional" blog for quite some time, but every time I sit down to do it, I can't decide what it will be about. Should it be about design? Or just photoshop. What about photography, or maybe buying a digital camera, I get that question a lot. Then I think, I work for a church what about helping people make the church look better. I just can't decide. Content is what drives a blog but what if you have too much content? I don't want to start five different blogs, so I am just going to say "This is a hodgepodge". Just a blog of what I know and my insights on the topic of design and photography and maybe some tips for non-profits.
So here I go.

If you're really into Photography and Photoshop (which you appear to be), then you should write about that. Obviously there's a large market interested in it, and we can never have too many resources for it.
Blogs (serious ones) are a lot of hard work and take more time than most people getting started can imagine. The hardest part is coming up with new content daily or even weekly. Write about what you know and also what you can write about often. Stick with it and you'll surely be happy.
